National Treasure · Unified Silla period · Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do
This 11m-tall five-story stone pagoda is supposed to have been built during the Unified Silla period. The pagoda is called "Bongam Tap" because it is located in the Bongam village. The double-tired foundation stands on the natural rock, and the body stone is made of the brick-like stones cut out of an aqueous rock. On the lower part of the first story, there is a niche for a Buddha image with door posts and a frame minutely carved.
