This Buddha statue was made during the Goryeo dynasty. Its height is 120cm and the width of knees is 90cm. From his oval-shaped face, sharp nose, closed mouth, it shows typical features of a Goryeo dynasty Buddha statue. His soft shoulder line, broad chest and slim waist line portray a sense of balance, and the cross-legged lower part of the Buddha's body is quite realistic. The "V" shaped style of the Buddha's tunic is unique and gives the impression that the Buddha wears traditional Korean clothes. The exaggerated expression on his face loses its grace, but its body has a sense of balance, His hands were made and reconnected later.
