Standing at the precinct of Borimsa Temple honoring the life and achievement of Master Bojo, this memorial stele features the main body set upon the tortoise pedestal and covered with a capstone. The tortoise pedestal supporting the stele has a dragon head with elaborately carved features and a back covered with hexagonal pattern. The top center of the back holding the base of the stele is decorated with cloud and lotus designs. The record of the Master's life and achievement engraved on the face of the stele was written by Kim Yeong and calligraphed by Kim Won and Kim Eon-gyeong. The monument is also marked by the capstone carved with majestic cloud and dragon motif and the name of the stele carved on the center of the front face: "Memorial of Master Bojo of Gajisan Mountain." Built in 884(the tenth year of the reign of King Heongang), the stele is widely regarded as a fine artwork representing the Buddhist artistic heritage of the period.
