Treasure · Silla period · Cheongdo-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do
The east and west pagodas (height: 5.4 m) display a typical pattern of a three-tiered stone pagoda and date back to the 9th century during the Unified Silla Period.
The images of the 8 seated guardians that are carved on the upper platform look refined. The components of the stupa finial at the top remain in good condition. Parts of their platforms were replaced with new stones. The foundation stone and the stone placed between the foundation stone and the body of the pagoda were assembled as one. The stone that is placed in between has a column at each corner and an inner column at each side.
