In the center, Sakyamuni Buddha is sitting on a lotus pedestal. His right hand reaches down toward the ground, while his left hand rests on his knee, indicating the attainment of spiritual enlightenment. The light streaming from the top of the Buddha's head symbolizes his teaching, which illuminates the world. The Buddha is flanked by the Four Guardian Kings, eight bodhisattvas, Brahma, Indra, ten principal disciples of the Buddha, and guardian deities.
